You do not need a download or desktop extension. Claude connects to LogSure through https://mcp.logsure.dev/mcp and LogSure OAuth.
Connect Claude Desktop
Step 1: Add the custom connector
- Open Customize → Connectors in Claude Desktop.
- Select Add custom connector.
- Name it LogSure.
- Enter
https://mcp.logsure.dev/mcp.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner must first add the connector in organisation settings.
Step 2: Approve access
Select Connect. Sign in to LogSure, review the access request, and approve the connection. You can revoke it later in LogSure.
Step 3: Enable and test LogSure
Enable LogSure from the Connectors menu for the conversation, then ask:
Task completion and photos
Claude can complete permitted tasks and use the supported photo-upload flow. Use the LogSure mobile app for on-site capture, offline working, and tasks that require a captured signature.
Common questions
Do I need to download a LogSure extension?
No. The old desktop extension was retired before public release. Claude Desktop now connects to LogSure through a remote custom connector.
How does Claude Desktop authenticate with LogSure?
Claude Desktop uses the LogSure OAuth flow. You sign in to LogSure, review the connection, and approve access for your own account.
Does Claude receive more access than the user has?
No. MCP requests use the same organisation boundary and user permissions as LogSure. Write actions are permission-checked and audited.
Can Claude complete LogSure tasks?
Claude can complete permitted tasks through the MCP tools. Supported photo evidence can use the bounded upload flow. Tasks that require a captured signature still use the LogSure app.
