Use Claude Desktop with the LogSure MCP server for permissioned field-service workflows

What This Extension Does

📋Search Tasks

Ask Claude for today's tasks, unassigned work, overdue items, or a filtered task search by client, location, status, and assignee.

📍Browse Locations and Clients

Find organisation locations, client accounts, and related task context through simple conversation.

Review Issues

Search, create, resolve, assign, and prioritise issues when your LogSure permissions allow it.

🔒Secure MCP Access

Uses a revocable LogSure API token. Data stays within your organisation's security boundary.

Note About Task Completion

Alongside viewing, searching and briefing tools, the MCP integration can mark tasks complete (audited). Tasks that require photo verification are best completed in the LogSure mobile app so the photo evidence is captured for quality control and audit.

Installation & Setup

Step 1: Download the Extension

Get the latest Claude Desktop package from our GitHub repository:

Step 2: Install in Claude Desktop

  1. Open Claude Desktop application
  2. Go to Settings → Extensions
  3. Click "Install from file"
  4. Select the downloaded extension file

Step 3: Configure Authentication

You only need a single, revocable API token:

  • In LogSure, go to Settings → API & Integrations
  • Click Generate token and copy it (shown once, starts with lsk_)
  • Paste the token into the extension when prompted

No organisation ID or user ID is needed — LogSure resolves your organisation and permissions from the token server-side, and you can revoke it any time.

Step 4: Test the Setup

Once configured, test the extension by asking Claude:

"Show me today's tasks"
